To ban or not to ban

The word or words that I would love to ban from general use are ‘I don’t know’ or ‘IDK’.

For instance, ‘How was school today?’
‘It was good.’
‘What did you go over in Physics?’
‘I don’t know.’

Really? You can’t remember what you went over seven hours ago in school? Oh wait, that is because you are too busy texting and looking at stuff in your phone. Got it.

Or another instance is when you ask someone who works in a store where you might find a particular product. ‘I don’t know.’

So ban the three little words

I don’t know.
