How we choose to celebrate

How do you celebrate good news you ask? Well celebrate of course. Tell the world. Share the news. Jump for joy, cry, laugh, smile and enjoy the moment. It is in fact a celebration and improbable, probable or what have you news is news and it needs to be celebrated.

Our most recent celebratory moment was this past week in fact. Our son received early acceptance to the University of Alabama.

Although we told our friends and family through electronic means, shared the news with our neighbor over the hedge and cried on the walkway, our son shared it through social media. When all was shared we celebrated as a family with dinner where he wanted to celebrate. His moment, his choice.

This is the first of many, keeping fingers crossed, as he has applied to other schools. Each one will have its own celebration, in its own fashion chosen by our son.
